Morning sickness is just horrible – It cuts through the joy of early (and if you’re unlucky, late) pregnancy and can even lead to depression. For some women, pregnancy sickness is so bad they need hospitalisation. Acupuncture can be tremendously effective for pregnancy sickness and I was reviewing a paper this morning that analysed trial data from 6 studies looking at acupuncture & acupressure and determined that this can make a real difference.

Stimulation of the acupoint Pericardium 6 (PC6) on the inner arm, just up from the wrist, by wearing for example Seabands (available in most chemists and online) can really help sufferers manage nausea in pregnancy.  So if you’re suffering, why not give it a try?
